About Wedding Photos AI
Wedding Photos AI turns a few selfies of each of you into realistic wedding and engagement photos, so you can see the two of you in a scene before the day. We also publish free posing guides for couples, whether or not you ever use the app.
Who's behind it
Wedding Photos AI is built and run by Lee Shadle. Before launch, we tested the photo generator on our own photos, side by side, to work out what makes an AI wedding photo actually look like the people in it. What we learned is written up in How to get AI wedding photos that actually look like you.
How the photos are made
- You upload selfies of each partner: one facing the camera is required; turned-left and turned-right selfies and a photo together are optional and improve likeness.
- You pick a moment you love and we plan a roll of moments for free. Each photo is made from your selfies by an AI image model; most are ready in about a minute.
- Every photo we make is AI-generated. It is not a photograph of a real event, and it does not replace a wedding photographer on your day.
What it costs
Planning your photos is free; you pay for a shoot. Each occasion has its own package, in collections of 8 photos with retakes included: Engagement session $49 (24 photos in 3 collections, with 12 retakes); Engagement, the full shoot $79 (48 photos in 6 collections, with 24 retakes); Anniversary $49 (24 photos in 3 collections, with 12 retakes); Elopement $69 (32 photos in 4 collections, with 16 retakes); Wedding day $99 (48 photos in 6 collections, with 24 retakes); and Engaged to married $149 (96 photos in 12 collections, with 48 retakes). Unused photos stay in your account, and if a photo fails to generate, it goes back to your account automatically.
Your photos and privacy
- Your selfies and generated photos are private to your account and stored only to make and show your photos.
- A photo appears on our homepage only if you choose to share it and confirm you both agree. You can stop sharing at any time.
- You can delete photos from your studio whenever you like. To delete your account, contact us.
How we research our guides
Our couple poses directory covers 28 poses chosen from data rather than guesswork: we read the 17 posing guides that rank highest on Google, counted how many recommend each pose, and checked how often people search for each one. Example images in the guides are AI-generated with fictional people and are labeled that way.
